Harold & Joy Wise started in business trading as Wise & Mitchell Machinery after purchasing the business from the Ballinger family. The Ballinger family were one of the original New Holland Dealers in Australia.

A new premises was built in 1984 which was located at Railway Terrace, Wolseley S.A.

In 1988 Harold & Joy Wise bought out their partners and changed the business name to Wise Farm Equipment Pty Ltd.

In July 2003 we relocated the business to new premises in Bordertown, Cnr Dukes Highway & Ramsay Tce.

We sell & service agricultural machinery with our main franchises being New Holland, Horwood Bagshaw, Nitro, Hardi & Simplicity covering areas from Tintinara to Nhill to Naracoorte.

In March 2006 we took on the Ford franchise & extended our business to sales & service of new & used cars.

Additional renovations were made to the premises to accommodate a service workshop & we employed a Service Technician.

Grant Wise, their son, joined them as a director of the company and is the dealer principal for Wise Ford.

In 2009, Kane Cuthbertson joined the business as the Ford Salesperson.

In October 2014, we then took on another franchise in Isuzu UTE with more extensions to our Workshops to accommodate our growing Workplace.
